Plate cultures serve as an excellent resource for growers involved in various stages of cultivation. They are particularly useful for producing master bags, which can be used for further inoculation of grain. Additionally, plate cultures are beneficial for creating liquid cultures, which provide a nutrient-rich environment for growing microorganisms. Furthermore, they can also be utilized to generate more plates, facilitating an ongoing cycle of growth and propagation. Overall, plate cultures are a versatile tool in the cultivation process.

Mycelium agar plates are custom made in our in-house laboratory utilizing medical-grade petri dishes. When received, they should be stored correctly to ensure longevity; under ideal conditions, they can last about 6 months. To preserve their viability, it is recommended to keep these plates in a refrigerator. It's important to remember that working with mycelium cultures necessitates basic laboratory skills. Always employ sterile techniques to minimize the risk of contamination.

All cultures are guaranteed free of contamination.

All cultures are shipped in a Petri dish.

All cultures are created in a lab under very sterile conditions.

We suggest you transfer small amounts of culture to awaiting petri dishes and save this culture as your master.  If possible store it in a styrofoam container inside a refrigerator.
